You're enthusiastic and driven, ready to hit the ground running with a caseload of learners, whilst being organised and efficient with time and resources. You're used to working closely with both employers and learners to build excellent working relationships and to ensure timely completions. Health and Social Care Assessor (Level 3) : The essentials.

• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA)
• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Health and Social Care qualification (Level 3 minimum)
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car

Health and Social Care Assessor (Level 3) : Your experience.

• Occupational history and competence within Health and Social Care
• Experience in a similar role
• Minimum 12 months assessing experience
• To be able to carry out initial and diagnostic assessments including Functional Skills
• The ability to motivate and encourage people
• Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
• Excellent communication skills


Health and Social Care Assessor (Level 3) : The desirables.

• Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (IAG) Qualification
• Knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance processes
• Management experience in the Care sector (Ward Nurse, Care Home Manager etc.)
• Management level qualification in Care (RMA, NVQ 4, Degree etc.)

Health and Social Care Assessor (Level 3) : The role.

• Training and Assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 3
• Carry out initial and diagnostic assessments including Functional Skills
• Ensure all Learners are inducted correctly and have been given sufficient training
• Must meet all external standards of any course delivery
• Assess and sign of candidate portfolios to the highest standard possible
• Provide Information, Advice and Guidance to allow candidates to progress
• £22,500 per annum
• Company pension schemes
• 26 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
• 40p paid mileage
• Continual Professional Development of 30 hours per annum
• Maximum caseload of 37 learners
• A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.
