Overview

KM Recruitment have a vacancy for an IT Assessor in London.

Applicants from Trainee and Qualified candidates are welcome, however the essential skills below are required;

(Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Assessors award)

- Solid occupational experience within the IT Sector (with specific skills in either IT Networking, IT Technician and Software Development).

- A recognised vendor qualification such as: MTA’s, CompTIA or CCNA.

- Ideally hold a Degree, Higher Education Qualification in ICT

- Full, clean driving licence, use of a vehicle.

- Must be flexible with travel.

Qualifications - A1/TAQA/CAVA ideally - but would consider trainees.

Must have STLS and childcare qualification up to L3.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career to be involved in the assessment process allowing people to achieve a full QCF/Apprenticeship qualification. You will be required to take a caseload of learners where you will have regular meetings to support them through the qualification process. This will involve regular visits to the learners place of employment and also remote support.

Occupational competence of working within a nursery/school (TA)
Must have STLS and childcare qualification up to L3.
Good standard of secondary education

Must be computer literate

Trainer/Assessor in Retail & Business Admin. - North London – up to £32K + travel expenses

My client is a successful well established provider of education, training and development for young people. They currently seek to appoint a fulltime, permanent Trainer/Assessor to join their team.

The purpose of this job is to support and assess learners in retail, customer service and administration programmes enabling them to achieve certification up to NVQ Level 3. Duties include conducting learner induction sessions to determine NVQ levels, design and delivery of group training, assessing learners to A1 standards and ongoing analysis of training needs.

To succeed you must have the ability to liaise with employers and demonstrate an understanding of their business needs. You will be able to work to targets and have proven IT skills. The following are essential: access to a car and a clean drivers license, no less than 2 years retail and administration experience, A1 or equivalent ,PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification and commitment to study further.
