We are currently recruiting for an Operational Partnership Manager to join our growing Employability and Skills division at Seetec.You will work with new and existing partners to identify positive opportunities to increase Seetec’s contracted delivery.
You will have responsibility for developing and managing partnerships with all key stakeholders within a defined geographical area for contracts relating to employment, education/skills and training to individuals.
 Working closely with the Supply Chain Managers, you will support with the development and performance management of subcontractor services, ensuring the group achieves its budgeted return and that all financial and non-financial KPIs allocated to supply chain partners are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong and effective long term relationships with regional stakeholders including but not limited to Local Enterprise Partnerships, Local Authorities, Schools and Colleges and Department of Work and Pensions. 
  • Participate in appropriate forums and develop partnerships with services, taking a Merlin based approach to procuring and managing services that align with Seetec’s objectives to help deliver the outcomes across all relevant contracts.
  • Ensure that partners are aware of  any Government and commercially funded opportunities and changes in operating policy arising.

  • Previous experience of partnership work in the welfare to work or skills sectors.
  • Experience of building, developing and managing stakeholder and partner relationships.
  • A good knowledge of stakeholders operating in the education/skills and employability sector and how they can impact on operational business performance.
  • A sound understanding of the challenges that people who are not in education, training or employment, or those from disadvantaged communities face and of the services that are available to them.
  • Experience and knowledge of Merlin based procurement and contract management processes.
Salary £36,000-£45,000

Our client is a leading East Midlands based Training Provider Organisation. They currently have an exciting ne vacancy for a Food and Drink Trainer Assessor to join their Skills team in Derby.
The role will involve planning, preparing and teaching apprenticeship courses including Food and Drink Process Operator and Functional Skills delivery in Maths and English. Also to support and develop learners to gain skills and qualifications that will enable successful achievement of Apprenticeship programmes and enhance their career prospects.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A teaching qualification (PTTLS or equivalent)
- An assessor award (TAQA or equivalent)
- A Functional skills qualification Level 2 in English, Maths
- Ability to train and assess learners towards achievement of Apprenticeship frameworks and standards
- Vocational competence in Food and Drink Process Operator (essential)
- Vocational competence in Performing Manufacturing Operations, Warehousing and Management (desirable)
- Ability to motivate and encourage learner participation
- 2 years’ experience in teaching and assessing post-16 learners
