Retail NVQ Assessor - Reading, Hemel Hempstead & Watford - Up to 22,000

A specialist private training provider is looking to grow their team of NVQ Assessors delivering qualifications within the Retail and Customer Service industries. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the retail industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplace, enabling them to realise their career potential. An assessing qualification is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their NVQ qualifications
- Maintaining documentation on learners' records
- Liasing with Learners, Verifiers and Management
- Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards

This role will suit an excellent communicator who has experience of the retail industry and is looking to work with and support learners. It is essential that you are able to work independently, managing your own time and travelling within the Reading, Hemel Hempstead and Watford regions to visit different workplaces. For this reason you must also have a valid driving license and access to a car.

You will receive an excellent salary and benefits package, including:

- Starting salary of 18,000 to 22,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Trainer/Assessor in Retail & Business Admin. - North London – up to £32K + travel expenses

My client is a successful well established provider of education, training and development for young people. They currently seek to appoint a fulltime, permanent Trainer/Assessor to join their team.

The purpose of this job is to support and assess learners in retail, customer service and administration programmes enabling them to achieve certification up to NVQ Level 3. Duties include conducting learner induction sessions to determine NVQ levels, design and delivery of group training, assessing learners to A1 standards and ongoing analysis of training needs.

To succeed you must have the ability to liaise with employers and demonstrate an understanding of their business needs. You will be able to work to targets and have proven IT skills. The following are essential: access to a car and a clean drivers license, no less than 2 years retail and administration experience, A1 or equivalent ,PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification and commitment to study further.
